Yucatek Divers is a full service dive center with two
locations in Playa del Carmen. You can find
our dive training facility in the Hotel Casa
Tucan and our well-stocked dive shop on the pedestrian walkway.
We are members of APSA, PADI, DAN, the hyperbaric chamber in
Playa and one of the
few dive centers in the area that received the
certification of the Mexican Tourism Board for
dive safety and quality.
Diving is a Fascinating Experience. Learning is Fun and Easy! Our
excellent PADI Instructors can qualify
you to any level from basic Open Water to
Divemaster. We offer all courses in English, German, French,
Spanish and more.
We are the only diving facility in the area with a 14’ /
4.5 meter deep
training pool, which means that you only go into the sea when you are
fully trained and feel ready.

world is the main attraction for scuba divers visiting the Yucatan
Peninsula. Guided by an experienced cave diver, you will venture
up to 180’ / 60

Our open water training program for people with disabilities is taught
with a high margin of safety, because
we use teaching techniques developed from
over 25 years of continuous research and feedback.
Handicapped students are trained and
certified according to HSA Physical
Performance Standards. The multilevel
certification system, exacting and sensitive,
enables us to train people with a wide range
of disabilities, including paraplegia and
quadriplegia. Even the blind and those
with high-functioning brain injuries or mild
retardation can enjoy the wonders of the underwater world.
