Chance Smart came fishing aboard the Lady Pamela II in search of his first
saltwater fish. Smart choice; Fort Lauderdale, Florida is well known for it's
world class sportfishing. We headed out Port Everglades with trolling gear ready
to go. Fishing was pretty slow, catching a few king mackerels here and there
along with some small bonitos. A local ship wreck was next on the list for the
Lady Pamela II. First drop of the day and we got a bite. Chance reeled in his
first saltwater game fish, a 42" amberjack.
