Fishery and Aquaculture Country Profile for Guyana - aquatic species caught by country or area, by species items, by FAO major fishing areas, and year, for all commercial, industrial, recreational and subsistence purposes. The harvest from mariculture, aquaculture and other kinds of fish farming is also included.

Ministry of Agriculture - Fisheries in Guyana. The largest freshwater aquaculture demonstration farm and training centre in the Caribbean is currently being set up at Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara with the view to further promote freshwater aquaculture development by providing on site training of farmers. This project is being funded by CIDA, FAO and the Government of Guyana.
