organization to mobilize and co-ordinate Canadian interests and
expertise in international sustainable agriculture.
The BC
Seafood Sector Council, the BC Salmon Marketing Council, the
BC Ministry of Fisheries and Fisheries Renewal BC have joined their
resources to create the BC Seafood On-line web-site. This on-line
reference is to give BC companies a tool that will help them do
their job more effectively, help with industry contacts and support
industry development, diversification and new alliances. Buyers and
suppliers will also find invaluable the comprehensive information on
company products, imports, exports and capabilities supplied by the
many participating seafood businesses in British Columbia. A
dynamic query capability ensures the site has the latest revised
data - an important feature in the rapidly changing seafood
industry.
International Association of Fish Inspectors

International Association of Fish Inspectors (IAFI)
is a new and growing organization serving the world
fish inspection community. As stated in our Charter,
IAFI exists to promote the exchange of ideas and
information, foster interaction, understanding and
professional collaboration among individuals,
organizations, and governments, disseminate
knowledge about fish, seafood, and associated
products inspection, and promote advancement of the
state-of-the-art in fish inspection research and
education.
