Barbridge Marina

Barbridge Marina there are extensive moorings along both banks of the
Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal with the capability of
berthing up to 70 narrow boats and was re-dredged in 2007. The towpath
is on the opposite side of the canal and access to the marina facilities
is across the bridge at the canal junction. The marina side moorings
(pictured above) are on the same side as the shop, boatyard, facilities
and car parking area. Our moorings are located at the junction of the
Shropshire Union Canal and the Middlewich branch which enables cruising
in all directions. North to Chester, South to Nantwich and beyond, West
on to the Llangollen Canal and East onlong the Middlewich Branch of the
Shropshire Union Canal to the Trent & Mersey Canal which provides many
more miles of canal network to explore and enjoy. |

Beeston Marina
- With all the facilities you need to enjoy the river, our moorings
offer exceptional value. Catering for both Cruisers and Narrowboats (and
Widebeams too) we offer both short- and long-term moorings, for both
Leisure and Residential use. We provide both electric and non-electric
hook-up for our moorers. Security gates, CCTV, car parking, water,
Diesel and a well-stocked Chandlers are among the services provided. |

Blackwater
Meadow Marina - The attractive marina is well equipped with a shop
selling boat spares, canal maps, guides and confectionary. On the site
there are boats for sale, moorings with electric hook ups and free WiFi
access for customers and permanent moorers. Full marina services
including a dry dock for out of the water repairs. The marina is
operated by ABC Leisure Group one of the leading companies on the Uk
canal network who have another eight marinas strategically placed around
the canal network, they have an excellent reputation for building high
quality bespoke narrow boats, and can provide everything for the
canalboat owner, or potential owner. The marina provides great cruising
in one direction across the magnificent Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (Now a
World Heritage site) to Llangollen which nestles within the beautiful
Dee Valley in the North East of Wales. In the other direction you can
travel through rural countryside and small villages toward Hurleston
Junction on the Shropshire Union canal and then on to places like
Chester, Middlewich, Market Drayton and many more. |

L R Harris & Son
- Old Junction Boatyard on the Grand Union River Soar navigation in
Syston, Leicester has been trading as L R Harris & Son for over 55 years
and remains a family owned & run business. The marina has 24-hour
security as the family live on site. The main rear car park gates give
daytime access to all marina moorings by means of a security key, these
are then main security locked between 9pm and 9am. Moorings (when
available) can be taken on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly
terms. All are paid in advance & are non refundable or transferable.
Suzuki & Tohatsu are our main outboard engine suppliers but others may
be available to order. Services & repairs are undertaken on most makes
of inboard and outboard engines, and also some outdrives. Spares are
available for most makes of engine- genuine & pattern parts. Our
mechanics have over 60 years experience between them and take great
pride in all the work they do & are usually willing to offer advice or
tap into their years of knowledge & expertise. |

Red Hill
Marina - Redhill Marina offers you a friendly and thoroughly
professional boating service at the heart of the East Midlands waterway
network that ranges from riverside and marina mooring to chandlery,
marine storage, boat hire and boat sales. Our slipway is available for
day and general access to the river and canal network. Cranage is also
available up to 100 tonnes – prices on request. We have full haul-out
services for anti-fouling and reblacking, with an undercover work area
for short-term repairs and refurbishments/painting. |
