RECIPE FOR:
Smoked
Salmon (or Crab) Quiche
Ingredients:
1cup Dungeness crab meat or smoked salmon
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tbs. cornstarch
1 and 1/2 cups Swiss cheese, grated (you may also use Monterey Jack) |
1/3 cup onions or shallots, finely chopped
1/3 cup celery
dash white pepper
dash paprika on top
1 9 inch pastry shell |
Method
Blend mayonnaise, milk, eggs and cornstarch.
Stir in crab, cheese, onions and white pepper.
Pour mixture into 9" pastry shell.
Bake at 350 for 35- 40 minutes.
