Also known as Port and Starboard,
Knight Fish.
The Pineapple Fish, really does resemble the fruit that it is named after. It has
a body encased in an armour made up of small plates, each of which has a pointed ridge.
It is a bright yellow, each plate is edged in black. The lips are black.
They are found in offshore waters off the northern New South Wales and Queensland
coasts. They are usually caught as a by-catch of prawn trawlers but are considered a
"trash" fish.
